The opening chapters of Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses focus on two indian actors as they reflect on their lives while falling from the fuselage of the jet they had been flying on after it has been ripped apart by a terrorist bomb.

As a group of young creatives either starting a business or learning what a deck is we were in a similar state of free fall. Some of us thought we had it all figured out, while others never really grasped the gravity of the situation.

Regardless of our individual levels of understanding, I was nominated to document our descent.
